Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known in the media as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actress, singer impersonator comedian and radio personality who is also known for her role as the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and also as the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. Angelica Maria Vale Hartman is famous for being the founder of the La Balada Ranchera musical genre which climbed the charts and became the first Latino artist in America to sell 2 million copies. She met Venezuelan comedian/singer Raul Vale in 1974. The couple got married in April of 1975, the first marriage that was broadcast in Mexico.
